Furotica, formerly known as Furor Exótica, is an Argentinian dancefloor-oriented duo from Buenos Aires, formed in 2014 by vocalist Barbie Garbage and producer Ric Piccolo. They have five powerful EPs and multiple V/A collaborations on labels such as Bordello A Parigi, Toy Tonics, Tom Tom Disco, and Boots & Legs.

With their latest release, Rebirth Is Hardwire (2025), the duo shed their former skin to reveal a sleeker, more menacing incarnation. One where vintage synth-wave Mushroom House Vol 3 (12″ vinyl) collides headfirst with razor-edged Italo-Disco, wired tight with a delirious, psychedelic charge.

Since the project began, they have toured extensively across South America, Europe, and Asia, performing at various clubs and festivals worldwide. Furotica has been remixed by Franz Scala, Kay-chi. Richard Rossa, Frank Agrario, Fabrizio Mammarella, Leitstrahl, Future Feelings, Kayroy & Greetings, Alan Dente, Trujillo, and Donald’s House, among others.
