The debut of the French label Citizens Of Vice on our platform is their release number sixteen, and this EP sees “Disco Edit Don” Andy Buchan (SXDNS012) return from outer space to his Vice brethren. “Kosmick EP” features 3 fresh beautiful cuts and offers up a chance for Andy to step away – at least for a while – from his acclaimed disco edits output to deliver an exciting EP of original works. Label buddy UK-based Paper Street Soul delivers a wonderful and essential interpretation of one of the titles to complete the package.

Inspired by the movies, “2049”, the track we chose to premiere, is a cinematographic tune, full of atmospheric and climatic elements, such as trippy pads and harmonic leads, that Andy put elegantly together in order to create this actual ode to the future. The funky and groovy bassline is also a highlight we cannot forget to mention.
