British producer Antic, though now operating from his base in Barcelona, continues to build a compelling and emotionally resonant catalogue. His work consistently defies simple genre classification, aiming instead to map the complex terrain of human feeling through sound. Following well-received outings on respected imprints like Logia, Clash Lion, and Anjunadeep, he presents the “Suffer in Silence” EP, coming soon on Dreamhouse Recordings. This three-track collection includes the titular piece alongside “Never Stop,” a collaboration with vocalist Claudia Georgette, which is offered in both a Club mix and the Dub Version we are examining today.

The pumping Dub Version of “Never Stop” artfully strips back the composition to emphasise a compelling fusion of Post-Punk and Synthpop. The track is built upon a foundation of resonant, deep-set guitar riffs that provide a gritty, driving momentum. Claudia Georgette’s and Antic’s vocals take on a more subdued, textured role, weaving through the arrangement rather than dominating it. These elements are enveloped by expansive, dreamy pads that create a rich, atmospheric soundscape. The final product is a cohesive and magnetic piece that channels the best of 80s-inspired, danceable melancholy, earning its place as a genuine Neo Disco treasure reminiscent of New Order’s pioneering work.
