Emerging from a December of DJ booths, the duo Gold Suite sought refuge in the January quiet, inspired by the rapid creation of ’70s library music. Joey envisioned scoring a resort lost in time, while Laura provided newfound bass lines. This led to “Analog Swell,” later graced with a live kit, and the vocal breakthrough of “Coast Along.” These simple, evocative tracks mark a creative turning point, offering listeners a minimalist portal to their timeless escape. Featuring remixes by Dan Idjut and Yarni, the “Gold Suite” EP is coming hot to join the kaleidoscopic catalogue of the acclaimed French label Citizens Of Vice.
