862 // Abrahamovitch – Una Una 60 (O.P.S. Remix)

O.P.S. delivers a stellar remix for Abrahamovitch's very first appearance on Burning Synths.

Amsterdam’s Abrahamovitch chooses the incendiary platform of Spain’s Burning Synths for a decisive debut, introducing Una Una 60 to the world. This inaugural production voyage arrives complete with a pair of transformative reinterpretations, entrusted to the skilled hands of O.P.S. and WLDV. For his part, O.P.S. arrives with a formidable pedigree, his previous navigations logged for esteemed ports like Logical, Rare Wiri, Boots & Legs, Nothing Is Real, and the commissioning label itself. The stage is set for a lesson in evolution, where a promising original idea becomes a destination.

In his rework, O.P.S. performs an act of focused intensification. He isolates the core Italo Disco DNA of Abrahamovitch’s original – those yearning melodies and star-drive rhythms – and submits it to a process of sublime magnification. The remix feels like watching a cherished, analogue schematic rendered in vaulted crystalline and neon. Familiar sequences gain new architectural scale and lustrous definition, their emotional resonance deepened and their kinetic energy supercharged. It is a masterful exercise in honouring a source while confidently imposing a grander, more voluptuous vision upon its framework. The result transcends mere accompaniment; it becomes the main event, a radiant and disciplined homage that simultaneously feels utterly faithful and spectacularly new.

You can find (and buy) this and other music pearls on the Beatport page of the label.
