Logia Records opens its doors to Paris-based producer BAUD, whose musical footprint now extends across Controlla, Sapient Robots, Jannowitz, Warbeats, and Print ID. His arrival on the Argentinian imprint signals another pivot in a trajectory marked by precision and club-ready intent. The “Game On” EP gathers two original constructions engineered for momentum, each built to press forward without excess or ornament. Rodrigo AM steps in on remix duty, adding further dimension to the package. Together, they offer a record that understands its function: to anchor the set, to move the room, to serve the hours when only rhythm will do.
Premiered here, the title track operates with the blunt authority of a starting pistol. Its stomping gait establishes immediate physical terms, a four-to-the-floor declaration that leaves no room for ambiguity. A bouncing bassline supplies elastic momentum, coiling and releasing beneath layers of percussive chatter that lock into the groove with mechanical precision. Strong synth riffs cut through the arrangement like signals from a tower, each one designed to register in the chest before the ears. There is no subtlety here, no slow-burn introduction – only the direct transmission of peak-time intent, engineered to reset a room’s energy in a single, emphatic gesture.
