Seiun lands on Burning Synths, adding the Spanish label to an already impressive run that includes previous stops at NEIN, Mélopée, and Club Mackan, just to name a few. The Berlin-based French producer delivers “Remontada,” a peak-time cut built for the moment the floor locks in and refuses to let go. The skilled Colombian artist Osccurate steps up for remix duties.
The original moves with purpose. Synth leads spiral and cut through, arpeggios lock into a steady rotation, and a whispered vocal drifts in and out like a message meant only for those paying close enough attention. A touch of acid bubbles beneath the surface, adding just enough friction to keep things interesting. The track pulls from various threads – Italo’s melodic sensibility, the forward pull of Raw Trance, the structural patience of contemporary club tools – but never wears any of them as a badge. It simply uses what works and trusts the floor to follow. “Remontada” knows exactly how to occupy the space between floor and head: driving enough to move bodies, considered enough to hold attention. A confident, unfussy debut from a producer who understands the assignment.
