Panna hails from Belém do Pará, where the Amazon meets the Atlantic, where tacacá simmers in street-side stalls and rhythm is never far from the surface. His work as a producer refuses to sit still, pulling from Latin rhythms, Hip-Hop’s weight, and the architecture of House and Tech House to assemble something rooted yet restless. A string of releases has led him to Miura Records, the Valencia-based imprint that now hosts his debut. The “Keep Movin'” EP is a three-track House dispatch, compact and confident.
Premiered here, “Thrown” locks into a groove that knows exactly where it wants to go. The bassline bounces with elastic energy, never overstating its presence but always felt. Percussive elements flicker and snap around the edges, adding texture without clutter. The vocal is stripped to its essence – a sparse presence that loops and recedes, pulling the listener in without demanding attention. Panna builds with a measured hand, each layer arriving exactly when needed, nothing lingering longer than its welcome. The result is a piece that moves with purpose, engineered for the floor but carrying a warmth that lingers when the lights come up.
