912 // S.D.S. – Ode To Sun (Extended Not So Extended Version)

S.D.S. debuts on Nubians Of Plutonia with an insightful combination of electronic flavours!

Italian stallion label, Nubians Of Plutonia Records, opens its doors for “Ode To Sun,” the freshest four-track delivery of the Varese-based DJ, vinyl collector, and producer Samuele De Santis – or simply S.D.S. Moving away from the feverish tension of the dance floor, the “Blu Mix” of the title track serves as both a ritual and a reclamation, a psychedelic and emotional trip through Samuele’s most inner thoughts and reflections towards the light, the warmth, and everything else our star has to offer. It’s a piece that trades club pressure for personal space, a moment of stillness carved out of the usual nighttime noise.

Premiered here, the “Extended Not So Extended Version” reworks the title track for a different kind of communion. A breakbeat structure takes over – skipping, stuttering, pushing forward with a looser, more physical energy – while the original’s trippy aura remains, refracted through a more danceable lens. Synth layers still drift and coil, but the rhythm now grabs the body first, anchoring the listener in a steady, trance-like sway. S.D.S. keeps the inward gaze alive, yet grounds it in something you can move to. The result is a cut that works the floor without losing its head – a rare balance between movement and reflection, crafted for those who like their grooves with a touch of the strange.

You can find (and buy) this and other music pearls on the Bandcamp page of the label.
