Anomali is Joao Schnitzspahn, a rising Brazilian DJ and producer with a looking-good under-construction discography that includes well-received appearances on Dear Deer Dubs, KontraKultura, Somatique Music, and Slow Cycle, just to name a few. He now lands on the respected Buenos Aires-based Logia Records with “Go,” a three-track delivery with Andre Rech on the remix duty. The title track sets the tone – groovy, dark, and carrying a certain electrifying pull that’s hard to ignore. Logia Records continues its run of solid, club‑focused releases, and this one fits right into that lineage.
Premiered here, “Go” runs on a bouncing bassline that locks the hips from the first bar. The synth work – yes, that daaaaamn! synth work – cuts through with a sharp, magnetic presence, raw and infectious. Cowbell incursions add a playful, almost hypnotic texture, giving the track a distinctive, almost tribal feel. The whole thing knows exactly what it wants: to move bodies and stir energy. Built for the floor, but with enough character to command attention off it. Anomali delivers a confident, straightforward cut that feels alive and purposeful. If this is the opener, you’ll want to catch the rest of the ride. The result is a release that marks a confident step for the Brazilian producer. Parabéns!
