Certified Space-Disco alchemist Stahler is a Berlin-based DJ and producer with a second-to-none discography, spamming through some of the most interesting labels of the cosmic-infused realm such as Feinstoff, Emerald & Doreen, and Burning Synths, just to name a few. He is now back on the latter with his second delivery on the mighty Spanish imprint. After the highly acclaimed “Neon Drift,” featuring remixes by none other than Italo Brutalo and Sam In Space, he now presents “Astrolines,” a stunning original with another double-remix pack this time made with love by James Rod and Zehlendorfer Disco Squad. The German duo, founders of the event series and soon-to-be record label Disco Futurismo, spared no effort to bring to life their very first incursion into the production territory.
When you think the release could not get more galactic, the Squad’s interpretation drops by and takes the soirée to further corners of the universe. For their version of “Astrolines,” the duo pushes the original toward wider, more expansive terrain. Extra synth layers drift through the arrangement, adding a shimmering, Italo‑tinged warmth that feels fresh yet familiar. Percussive elements skip and shuffle beneath, giving the track a loose, floor‑ready pulse that keeps the body engaged. The Zehlendorfers inject additional doses of Italo Disco flavour without losing sight of the cosmic thread that runs through Stahler’s work. The result feels like a late‑night signal from a distant club, where the lights are low and the groove is everything. A confident first production from a duo clearly comfortable behind the controls, and a worthy addition to the Burning Synths catalogue.
You can find (and buy) this and other music pearls on the Beatport page of the label.
