Milan-based imprint Analog Disorder presents the second instalment of its VA series. “Disordine#2” comes soaked in neon-filled soundscapes delivered by DXXXV, Odagled & Vicky Montefusco, Pleasure Seeker, and Castelli, each bringing their own retro-infused contributions, resulting in a perfect OST for a cyberpunk movie filled with moments of tension and struggle – no time to breathe here! The compilation moves through different corners of the synth‑driven spectrum, from darker, more brooding textures to brighter, more urgent surges. Yet the whole thing holds together – a shared affinity for analogue warmth and cinematic scope keeps the tracks in conversation with one another.

Debuting on the label after solid appearances on VEYL and Bordello A Parigi, Stefano Castelli brought an unapologetic New Wave/Synthpop cut to the soirée. Wrapped in a Gary‑Numan‑esque aura, “My Private Hell” closes the VA on a high note. The gloomy title might mislead you, though. Pure euphoria sets the mood. Castelli’s vocals take centre stage – simply addictive, commanding attention with every line. The synths wrap around his voice with a steady, driving rhythm, balancing warmth and distance. The track never falls into pure imitation; it nods to its influences while carving out its own identity. A fitting conclusion to a compilation that thrives on contrasts, and a confident label debut for Castelli.
