Hailing from Naples, Italy, singer and songwriter Beatrice de Cristofaro is the mastermind behind Only Bee, a project through which she can freely explore her many influences, spanning R&B, Pop, and House, and deliver her vision of these genres – seasoned with the warmth of Mediterranean groove and the energy of European club culture. Coming out on Soul Express Records in late September/early October, her namesake debut album is a proper showcase of her creativity and ingenuity, blending a wide range of flavours with a personal, intimate approach. Featuring eight originals, including notable collaborations with Whodamanny, Thanksmate, Giuseppe Fava, Obbi, and 1MorePizzaPls, alongside musicians Roberto Porzio, Daniel Monaco, Michele Morsilli, and Daniele Labbate, “Only Bee” can hardly wait to be out and has already been slowly revealing its beauty through a series of promos.

Premiered here, “Dimmi” might be the closing theme of the release, but it was one of the first to pop up, immediately giving us a taste of what Only Bee had in store. With an irresistible Pop appeal, the song wraps Beatrice’s warm Italian vocals in a colourful, instantly engaging arrangement, balancing a breezy feel-good atmosphere with a deliciously catchy rhythm. There’s a lovely sense of spontaneity throughout, as playful hooks and sparkling textures give the track a sunny, carefree character, while a gentle emotional undercurrent adds further depth. A charming finale to the album – and a rather compelling first taste, too.
