937 // U-Art – Didge Channeler (Original Mix)

U-Art debuts on Quixotical Records with a biting EP!

After appearing on Oberwave, Samo, and Technological, Moscow-based producer U-Art lands on the beloved Quixotical Records with “Zero Red,” a six-track parcel featuring four darkness-infused originals and two blood-thirsty remixes made with love by Rentr and Ern:Sto. Filled with sturdy rhythmic foundations and rough-hewn textures, the EP is not meant for the weaklings – there’s absolutely no fluffiness here, just music with teeth. It’s a release built for the darker corners of the intelligent clubs out there, where intensity matters more than polish, and U-Art and his partners in crime make no apologies for it.

Premiered here, “Didge Channeler” takes no prisoners. With a stompy and confrontational gait, the theme delivers its magic with a heavy-footed march that plants itself firmly on the dance floor and refuses to budge. There’s a menacing quality to the low end, a growl that sits beneath the percussion like a threat. EBM devotees will recognise the DNA immediately, but the “Channeler” has its own personality, built on textures that feel rough to the touch. What sets it apart is the way it holds its ground, laying down its vision and trusting it to land. A proper statement piece, and one of the strongest cuts on the EP.

You can find (and buy) this and other music pearls on the Bandcamp page of the label.
