Javi Golo is not an outsider when it comes to darkness-infused music despite such detachment being suggested by his latest alias. Since his debut as JG Outsider (SXDNS052) in 2020, the seasoned Spanish producer has been pouring high-quality Indie Dance/Dark Disco cuts filled with some of his most nuclear influences. Espacio Cielo, NEIN, Logia, Banshees, Side Up Works, Samo, and Golden Soul are just a few of the outlets he has already appeared either presenting his solo or collaborative originals or delivering interesting remixes/revisions for other equally skilled artists.

For his brand-new endeavour, Javi presents his boldest project so far: Coming soon on the German imprint Cold Transmission Records, “Despierto” is the very first album he has brought to life since the inception of the JG Outsider disguise. In it, seven powerful originals, one in collaboration with Ruth From Hell on the vocals, and two remixes made with love by Nightcrawler and Spammerheads. No atmospheric experimental stuff here, it’s all about the dance floor.

Premiered here, “Life” delivers its magic through heavy doses of EBM-meets-Industrial elements spiced up with a pinch of Electro Funk references. A decadent aura takes over developed by intricate synth work and sober speech-like vocals, resulting in one of the finest themes of the album.
