The solid Berlin-based imprint ODD Pleasures wraps up its 2023 by opening its doors for the first time to the young and skilled Russian producer Evgeniy Tanaisov aka Etane. Managed by the respected duo Random Atlas (SXDNS155), the imprint keeps things simple by releasing no more than a couple of releases per year – this is the first time they reach the magic number of three dispatches in such a spell, by the way.

Etane seems to be following the same pace: After a lot of output published between 2017 and 2021, the Cologne-based virtuoso has slowed down considerably and delivered very little – but high-quality – material for the last couple of years. For his debut on ODD, he came up with three fangy originals and invited Aural Trace for a remix – an outstanding one, FYI.
