FYI, this is the kind of Techno dinosaurs tend to like, nothing fluffy or melodic – hard and raw, please!
Italian producer Antonio Coronato is the mastermind behind uramakiuramaki, a project started in Rome and developed in Amsterdam, through which Antonio delivers his vision of what dance-floor-oriented electronic music should be.
“Inspired by the concept of continuous improvement,” uramakiuramaki brings to life his “Kaizen” EP, a release that “embodies a journey of personal discovery and artistic evolution”, without the shackles of mandatorily following the guidelines of a specific genre, “reflecting a fluid and exploratory process.” Featuring three insightful originals and one sturdy remix made with love by Acidgigi, the parcel, coming soon on the Milan-based label BSR, “is an organic expression of pure play and self-exploration” that depicts the artist’s “ongoing pursuit of growth and experimentation.”
Premiered here, “Metalli”, as you must be aware, is the kind of Techno we like! Simple but provocative, the theme manages to deliver a highly energised aura devoted to triggering chaos at the peak time with its bouncing gait, frenzied stroboscopic synths, and relentless vocal hooks.
You can find (and buy) this and other music pearls on the Bandcamp page of the label.
Follow uramakiuramaki and BSR, peeps!
