Hyman Bass makes a vibrant return to Cenital Music with “Thanks for All the Fish”, a five-track EP that encapsulates his signature blend of Deep-House grooves and cosmic textures. The release features three original compositions, brimming with hypnotic rhythms and ethereal soundscapes, alongside dynamic remixes by Azaria and Mopa. The EP’s title playfully nods to Douglas Adams’ sci-fi classic “The Hitchhiker’s Guide To The Galaxy,” where the phrase symbolises absurd gratitude – a theme echoing the record’s adventurous, otherworldly spirit. Bass’s productions balance dance-floor energy with introspective depth, crafting a dynamic tension between club-ready momentum and meditative atmosphere.
Premiered here, Azaria’s remix of “Love Unlimited” reimagines the original’s soulful foundations through a Detroit-inspired lens. The Madrid-based producer and sound engineer strips the track to its rhythmic core, layering punchy kicks, shimmering synths, and driving basslines to craft a peak-time Techno-House hybrid. Azaria’s version retains the warmth of Bass’s melody but infuses it with gritty, motor-city urgency, showcasing his technical precision and genre-fluid artistry. This reinterpretation, alongside the EP’s literary-inspired concept, underscores the release’s celebration of creative reinvention, both in sound and storytelling.
