The collaborators – including My Secret Playground, Soyoon, Astore, Seiun, Clouzer, Desinformant, Ex.Hale, Lvcerate, Jabba 2.3, Javier Ferreira, and Sachazam – deliver a colourful spectrum of styles, from shimmering Disco-infused Indie Dance to Industrial-tinged EBM. This collection isn’t just a celebration of Mystery Kid’s growth; it’s a testament to electronic music’s boundless versatility. Each contributor leaves their fingerprint, yet the album coheres through her distinct melodic sensibility and willingness to embrace experimentation. Premiered here, Javier Ferreira’s reinterpretation of “GTA Cruise” – originally crafted by Mystery Kid and Discord – is one of the album’s most radical transformations. Where the original nods to Kraftwerk’s minimalist synth precision, Ferreira plunges it into Underworld’s realm of psychedelic, sweat-drenched Techno. The rigid 808s dissolve into a fluid, sub-bass-driven pulse, while eerie arpeggios spiral overhead like warehouse-rave ghosts. It’s a masterstroke of reinvention: Ferreira retains the track’s hypnotic core but mutates its DNA into something darker and more sensual.
