Heidelberg’s mayor, Philip Habel, is finally back on the deeply recommended Munich-based imprint Dance Petrol Records. With previous incursions on NBAST, Mind State, and DPR itself, the discography of the young and talented German producer fails to disappoint those in search of proper House Music – & sub-genres – cuts.

His brand-new “Bring It Down Like That” showcases his inventiveness and capabilities through three cutting-throat originals, tailored to hearty dance floors. An outstanding remix made with love by Jonas Gottlieb brings the venture to a conclusion.

The theme we chose to premiere is an alternative take of the title track, reimagined with “a relentless drive, pushing the boundaries and keeping the energy high”, according to PR text. It also states that “Philip Habel’s ‘Bring It Down Like That’ is a celebration of genre-blending creativity”, and every piece is “a testament to Habel’s ability to fuse classic influences with contemporary sounds, resulting in an EP that’s both timeless and fresh.”
