Celestino defines himself as “just a dinosaur playing music for love since 1992”, the year he started spinning records in Belém, his homeland in Brazil. There, he established himself as an important figure among the few DJs in town who fought to create a real electronic music scene at the beginning of the 2000s.

However, music is not the only passion of the bearded “dinosaur”. Due to his work as an English teacher and book author, he moved to Fortaleza in 2005 and was obliged to press pause in his music activities to focus on his career in Education.

Only in 2011 he decided to resume his DJ life, accepting invitations to perform in bars, clubs and events either as a resident or guest DJ. He got so involved with music again that in 2014 he decided to quit his job and move to Frankfurt in order to make a living out of DJing and producing.

His first works as a producer were released by solid labels such as Emerald & Doreen, Thunder Jam, Kitchen, Love Tempo, Kommunikation among others. Not bad for an old dinosaur.
