081 // MAN2.0

MAN2.0, acclaimed London-based DJ and producer, has put together an exquisite selection of dark-ish and groovy sounds to entertain you properly for the next 87 minutes.

MAN2.0 AKA Mark Bailey has spent much of the last two decades on the dancefloor, losing his shit to DJs like Erol Alkan, Justin Robertson, Ivan Smagghe and any other artist not afraid of playing slightly left of centre. Initially, Mark played in some of the worst bands in West London never to leave the practice studio before becoming caught up in London’s club scene, trawling London’s clubs like the End, Turnmills, The Cross and Fabric before London’s nightlife went a bit limp.

In recent years, Mark turned to music production as a means to channel his ADHD, and after gaining some attention from the Ransom Note, was signed to Tronik Youth’s Dark Disco and Post Techno imprint Nein Records. As a DJ, Mr 2.0 has played numerous gigs in Berlin, most notably destroying the dancefloors of Crack Bellmer and the mysterious J Kerfuffle [sic], “Just one of the many reasons he is wanted by the German authorities”. The last years have seen his releases and remixes on Nein, Controlla, Hypnotic Groove, Wonder Stories, and many other respected labels.

His exclusive mix for us clocks in at just over an hour, long enough to fit in some of his recent favourites as well as a few cheeky forthcoming gems for you to stuff into your lugholes.
