Our first premiere of the year brings a track from a forthcoming release on the beloved German label Emerald & Doreen Recordings: “The Cosmic Era” is a collaboration between Daniel Monaco (Daniele Labbate) and Ma Spaventi (Marco Antonio Spaventi), friends, fellow musicians and producers. The album is the result of their night jams at Spaventi’s mastering studio – probably in the company of good bottles of wine paired with fine cheeses. Due to their musician nature, the use of analog sequencers, synths and drum machines was integrated with big live components which can be heard in every single track.

The groovy “I Wanna Dance With You” is a true zero-gravity experience. Cosmic leads and synth lines establish the space mood of this superb tune. The sci-fi FXs & percussive rimshots are elements worth mentioning as well. Showing proper skills not only in this premiered track but also in the entire EP, the young talents keep alive the Italian tradition of giving birth to some of the finest producers of the world when it comes to “the music of the future”.
