We have the pleasure of premiering a track from the first compilation released by Oberwave – community, party series and label from St. Petersburg, Russia. Featuring seven original tunes made with love only by Russian producers, selected for their expertise in creating cold and dark music with gothic and erotic vibes, the compilation presents founder Morze (SXDNS151) accompanied by Etane, Gegen Mann, Disco Morato (SXDNS147/FREEDL015), XLR804, Lara Foer and Negative Datura. In their own words about the release: “Some call it ‘body music’; others, ‘dark disco’, but you can call it whatever you want”.

Moscow-based DJ and producer Disco Morato’s contribution to the compilation – Fulmina – is the real McCoy! A proper banger, devoted to ripping you off from your comfort zone and stranding you in the middle of a pulsating Oberwave-style bash so that you can experience all the forbidden pleasures that only a complex and obscure track can provide. Pulsating synth layers, menacing leads and a tough bassline were skilfully brought together by master Morato in this true ode to obscurity.
