After well-received releases on Nein Records, Controlla and Veneno, young and skilful Mexican talent Ulises Arrieta (SXDNS193) makes his debut on the beloved German label Emerald & Doreen Recordings. His new EP, “Orbita”, is made up of three beautiful originals and five insightful remixes provided by Sequencers, Enjanzea2, Zomvic & Sapukai, Velax and LaTech.

The track we chose to premiere, “Alarma”, features as its highlights a combination of mesmerizing sounds such as an aggressive and ominous bassline paired with effusive percussive elements. According to Mr. Arrieta himself, “the name of the theme comes from the alarming and aggressive atmosphere transmitted by the sonority of the synthesizers used”.
