140 // Csk – Cornelius (Globemaster Remix)

It seems it was yesterday the last time we premiered a track by Csk. Oh, wait, it was! The Italian stallion seems to be on a release spree at the end of the year. Lucky us! Check the review of Globemaster's remix for Csk's forthcoming release on Maleante Records.

Not accidentally, Maleante Records has been slowly carving its name amidst the most interesting imprints of the so-called Indie Dance/Dark Disco scene. Having already featured on its well-curated releases a plethora of respected artists such as Diaz Tech (SXDNS089), Alvee (FREEDL019), Attendances (SXDNS223), Colossio (SXDNS025), Ali X X Ximena (SXDNS070), Connor, Roliva, and Corresponsal, the label boss himself, the Mexican label opens its doors this time to the skilled and respected Italian DJ and Producer Csk (SXDNS088). His “Cornelius EP” brings two engaging originals accompanied by three enticing remixes provided by local hero Globemaster (SXDNS153), who is also part of the Maleante team, and Argentinian hermanos Balam (SXDNS048) and Ricardo Ruben (SXDNS103).

The remix we chose to premiere, competently made by Eder Solorio aka Globemaster, is an actual tribute to the darkness and its creatures. The bouncing bassline, the ominous synth layer, and the melodic pad which GM put together bring a gloomy but groovy aura to his solid interpretation of the original theme.

Special credits to talented Safos One for the artwork.

You can find (and buy) this and other music pearls on the Bandcamp page of the label.
