Quixotical Records is an Argentina/Lithuania-based record label, music channel, and party organizer founded in 2020 by Emmanuel Poulper (SXDNS146) and Aurum Miles. Focusing on indie dance filled with mysterious waves, drama, sex, and dark feelings, aiming at never losing the groove and driven by disco and techno influences with EBM flashes and electro pieces, the project has been making some noise and drawing the attention through their well-curated mixtapes and free edits. Now, with “QXT001”, the first official release of Quixotical, the game will start for real. The Various Artists album features 17 artists and 13 tracks. Among the dream team brought together by the lads, some important names from the Indie Dance/Dark Disco scene: Alvee (FREEDL019), Colossio (SXDNS025), Csk (SXDNS088), Diego Montiel (SXDNS194), Fabio Me Llaman Soltero (SXDNS187), Fausto (SXDNS064), Man2.0 (SXDNS081), plus label bosses themselves, just to name a few.

The track we chose to premiere was made with love by Italian DJ and producer Francesco Mantovani aka Csk. His contribution to the compilation brings Francesco exploring his darkest and most obscure side. Owner of an impeccable technique, the veteran producer blends successfully and seamlessly his old and new influences, creating something fresh devoted to the dance floor. The thick bassline, the percussive riffs, and the menacing synth pad definitely put Csk’s theme amid the highlights of the release. Watch out Quixotical, peeps! It came to stay!
