After seven notable releases, ESTHÉTIQUE Records puts an end to the 2021 season by bringing to life a must-have compilation: Featuring a bright selection of respected artists amid the so-called Indie Dance/Dark Disco scene, such as Ludviq & Poulper (SXDNS146/ FREEDL028), Vicky Montefusco, Fat&Bald, GUYD (FREEDL011), and MMYYLO, just to name a few, the VA faithfully represents the very kind of sonority the French label has been delivering for the last four years since its foundation: Dark & groovy cuts with shards of space dust and drops of bat blood.

Premiered here, Maestro GUYD’s contribution to the occasion – and if you are familiar with his work, you know the French producer never disappoints when it comes to delivering fat doses of twisted and razor-sharp darkness. His “Robot Killer” is a, yes, killer track that brings a bouncing bassline, distorted-as-hell synth layers, and a noxious acid lead. Definitely one of the highlights of the compilation.
