The interesting independent record label Moving Pictures, based in Prague, Czech Republic, kicks off 2022 releasing its third VA: “Aegean Forcefields”, having received the same high-quality curation process of its predecessors, delivers various shades of psychedelically and emotionally charged electronic music, precisely the kind of sonority sought by the Czech platform, featuring blended and twisted genres and musical borders provided not only by local artists but also from other neighbourhoods such as Germany, Italy, UK, and Sweden: Ataxy, Fimo., Snooze Lee, DudeJojo, Roman Rai, Rico Casazza, Täino, and Thrown brought their beautiful colours and textures to the palette of the compilation, yielding dance floor weapons alongside living room melters and everything in-between, sounds that freely coexist and flow inside the Moving Pictures universe.

The track we were solicited to premiere was brought to life by Fimo., who makes his debut on the Czech imprint with “Ladybug”, a beautiful and moving cut filled with angelical synth layers, melodic guitar riffs, and rhythmic percussive elements. The label boss must be incredibly happy with this one. We are!
