The still young but already respected French label Critical Monday is back for the Chapter 12 of its beautiful story. The Bonnie Spacey’s imprint’s first EP of the year features hot Austrian producer Yöurr, who made his debut on Critical last December on its “Various Artists Vol. 2” compilation and has amassed a solid string of originals and collaborations released on vital labels such as Secret Fusion, Voltaire Music, Earthly Delights, and WAYU, just to name a few. The Chapter 12 brings also a seminal remix signed by none other than the unstoppable Greco-German couple Vamparela and Brax Moody aka Local Suicide.

Premiered here, the remix brought the minimalistic and retro-futuristic aura of “Double Grab” to a fidgetier and more frolic realm. The first thing Vamp & Max must have thought when started working on the track was “we need more cowbell!”, and from there, the sky was the limit. The fatter and funkier bassline plus the extra dose of synth leads and percussive elements resulted in another proper Indie Dance cut by the beloved by all duo.
