Another solid release on the loud & noisy São Paulo-based label LoveDogs in the pipeline: Argentinian DJ and producer Agustin Basile aka Basileus presents “Cosmo Wanderer”, his debut EP, by the way, featuring two well-constructed originals and a frenzied remix made with love by Vasconcellos.
After presenting himself to the Indie Dance/Dark Disco community with “Katabasis”, a single released on Logia Records’ Take It series, Basileus keeps showcasing proper production skills in this second adventure of his.
Premiered here, “Apogeo” is a sober and trippy – but definitely vivacious – modern Indie Dance cut that efficiently encompasses the main elements which characterize such a genre: A fat bassline, a guitar-like riff, and arpeggiated synth layers. Definitely a piece that deserves to be tested on crowded dance floors.
