Russian syndicate Oberwave opens its doors to “Darkness Mit Pommes”, the debut album of the interesting Berlin-based duo Snake Milk formed by none other than singer Joy Tyson and DJ/producer Skelesys (SXDNS139) on the synthesizer and drum machine duties. Expect romance and passion, light and darkness, deep vocals and mechanical rhythms, authentic Cold Wave and modern Dark Disco spread through the solid and well-constructed eight tracks of the insightful release. Gegen Mann (SXDNS220), Unit-83, Leo Sagrado, and Morze (SXDNS151) jumped in to bring some remixes to raise even more the bar of the album.
Premiered here, the beautiful title track enchants since its very beginning with its bouncing bassline, delicate guitar riffs, creamy pads, mellow synth layers, and ace vocals. A pureblood Synthpop cut devoted to triggering emotions and dance floor dreams.
