Since his first appearance on Freerange Records in 2017, Astroloop (SXDNS253) has been carving his name in stone in the high-quality underground music scene. Inspired by Cosmic-Disco-infused House Music, it was not until his debut on New Day Everyday in 2021 that his focus has been solely on bringing to life well-constructed and creative Indie Dance cuts. His solid works published on Nothing Is Real, Latido, Ombra, and NEIN have established the rising Italian producer as one of the most prominent names of the genre.
He is now back on the British powerhouse NEIN with a driving & sharp EP featuring two peak-time beasts (“Hold Me” and “San Pedro) and a spot-on remix made with love by awesomely bearded Milano-based producer Tayga.
The track we were solicited to review/premiere depicts Astro flirting once again with his Cosmic Disco influences successfully paired with a proper amount of Acid and laser FXs. The ominous vocal hook and the powerful Blade-like synth stab cannot go unmentioned.
