Hailing from Lima, Peru, Izakaya Deployment owes the inspiration for his moniker to the deep affection he has for Japan and its culture. Such influence can be perceived in his sober and pragmatic but extremely rich sonority in which he explores the many possibilities of bringing to life his take on high-quality underground electronic music.
After appearances on NEIN Records, he is back on his very own No Signal Records with another incursion into the Indie Dance/Dark Disco realm: “The Return of Akira” comes packed with two well-constructed originals in which Izakaya succeeds, once again, in combining his multi-genre background to deliver vital dance-floor-focused gems.
Premiered here, “Umeda Sky Drinking”, in our opinion one of the best works of the skilled Peruvian producer so far, is a mesmerizing and riveting cut that develops its allurement through soothing synth layers and trippy pads, resulting in a trance-like experience to be enjoyed with your eyes closed for a better immersion.
You can find (and buy) this and other music pearls on the Beatport page of the label.
