After previous well-received collaborations published on acclaimed outlets such as Frank Music, Another Rhythm, and &Friends, AP & Gimbrère land now on Tensnake’s True Romance with a lovely EP: “Love On The Rocks” comes packed with a too-much-groove-to-be-true gait delivered by the beautiful title track – in two versions (Original and Extended) – and the melodic “Add Up”, the closing act.

And who are the lads? Gimbrère is an Amsterdam-based DJ and producer whose passion for the magic that music triggers on the dance floor started in his middle teens. In addition to the aforementioned, his works have already appeared on cool labels like, for instance, White Widow, Eight0Eight Records, and Future Disco. Owen Micallef aka AP, in turn, hails from Malta and has been fighting the good fight also since a tender age. His solo flights can be found on Love Attack, Tinted, theBasement Discos, and Pomme Frite, just to name a few.

Premiered here, the main piece of the EP is a stunning 134-BPM Trance-meets-Italo-Disco-meets-Hi-NRG gem designed to bring about euphoria and exhilaration to its following. Caveat Emptor: Strictly peak time!
