Another collaboration lands on our premiere section this week, this time the result of the joint effort between two young rising South American talents: Jorhero (SXDNS321) and Panko (FREEDL051) decided to bring their wits and influences together to deliver four high-stamina beasts. Coming soon on Veneno, the EP presents also two solid remixes made with love by skilled Mexican producers Praqqa and Villaseñor.
Hailing from Asunción, Jorge Caballero aka Jorhero is a young Paraguayan musician, DJ, and producer whose outcome can be found on cool labels such as Logia, Emerald & Doreen, Controlla, and NEIN, just to name a few. Eclectic, he is also a member and leader of the band Bonnie’s Hero and the duo Poly Fiction.
In turn, Buenos Aires-based Francisco Gigena aka Panko works as a curator of the growing U’re Guay Records and has had his works also published on Quixotical, Me Gusta, Kyma Komplex, Golden Soul, among others.
The track we were solicited to premiere is a fangy 138-BPM peak-time beast through which Jorhero & Panko showcase their Techno influences combined with a pinch of Latin vibes. Its visceral acid gait is undoubtedly something to be played out loud when the crowd is bloodthirsty for a proper banger!
