Norway has a new secret weapon when it comes to hit intelligent dance floors out there with high-quality House Music: Blending Acid & Progressive elements with shards of Disco, Henrik Villard has been conquering hearts and minds with a string of successful releases: True Romance, Paper Recordings, Terrazzo, Trampoliner, Liztomania, Distrokid, Beatservice, Mhost Likely, and theBasement Discos are just a few of the imprints on which he had his works published. He lands now on the rising Oslo-based label Snick Snack Music with his “Going Down” EP featuring three outstanding originals.
Premiered here, the closing theme of the fete wraps things up with a true ode to groove. “Redlight” is one of those tracks that we knew we were going to fall in love with from the very beginning simply because it instantly triggers happiness with its colourful aura and upbeat bearing delivered by the impeccable percussive base. Minimalistic synth leads and psychedelic riffs jump in and complete the experience. Dance smiling to it, the DJ will get it!
You can find (and buy) this and other music pearls on the Juno Download page of the label.
