591 // Daggers – Space + Time

Happy 50th release, Citizens Of Vice! Doing the honours, Daggers and his savoury "Evergreen" EP.

According to the Cambridge Dictionary, milestone can be defined as “an important event in the development or history of something or in someone’s life”. Today’s premiere celebrates a milestone: The 50th release of the acclaimed outlet Citizens Of Vice. In order to celebrate such important occasion, the vital French label opens its doors for the first time to UK-based producer Tom Daggers and his interesting debut EP: “Evergreen” delivers its message through three well-constructed and groovy originals.

Tom’s sonority follows the Citizen’s preferences – House Music filled with Cosmic and Balearic vibes plus shards of Disco – with a twist, though: Mr. Daggers likes harder & faster & more zero-gravity infused.

The theme we selected to review/premiere fuses the three dimensions of space and the one dimension of time into a single four-dimensional continuum. Explaining in musical terms: Ethereal synth layers and leads combined with progressive chords topping a bouncing bassline plus sober dialogue-like vocals result in a proper cosmic experience, got it?

You can find (and buy) this and other music pearls on the Juno Download page of the label.
