610 // Revolt – The Wait Is Worth It (Zaatar Remix)

This superb remix by Zaatar for Revolt's forthcoming album on Khoinix is a vital cut for EBM lovers.

Khoinix is a London-based label and event promoter focused on bringing to life the fangy and fierce side of music. EBM, Industrial, New Wave, Dark Techno, and Dark Disco are on the menu of its releases and parties. Expect high danceability and absolutely no fluffiness if you happen to step into the world of the project.

For its forthcoming release, soon available in digital and cassette formats, the outlet welcomes skilled Ukrainian producer Revolt and his “Unfulfilled Promises” EP. On the remix duties, Asymetric80, Alpha Sect, Endless Nothing, Alen Skanner, Zaatar (SXDNS332), and Persona Non Grata. Six powerful originals and six outstanding interpretations make the album a must-have for the fans of dark grooves out there.

The one we chose to review/premiere comes from the mastermind of one of the most promising artists of her generation. Hailing from Lille, France, Zaatar simply cannot get enough of delivering high-quality darkness-infused cuts through well-produced originals and collaborations published on vital imprints such as Dischi Autunno, Enlace, Soil, and Playground.

For her take on “The Wait Is Worth It”, she might have kept some of the main elements but came up with a rawer and more shadowy vision. With a less progressive and punchier aura, the theme now has her signature EBM-clad attire. An artist to watch, ladies and gentlemen!

You can find (and buy) this and other music pearls on the Bandcamp page of the label.
