For its forthcoming brick on the wall, the prolific Argentinean powerhouse Logia Records welcomes planet-Earth-based producer Ambear. After solid appearances on Uncles Music, BAU_HAUS, Re:Sound, and Diynamic, just to name a few, the skilled human artist now brings to life “Zaebic”, an interesting EP packed with his characteristic sonority inspired by 70’s synthesizers and science fiction. On the remix duties, young hot-stuff Yerno Vil and Cu Da Curuxa fulfilled their respective tasks with big thumbs-up interpretations.
Premiered here, the title track is a sturdy Cyberpunk gem filled with menacing synth leads and a proper acid attitude that could easily sneak its way into the original soundtrack of any movie of the genre. The fitting scene: That one in which the protagonist makes their triumphant but impaired comeback after having had their ass previously – and excessively – kicked by their vicious nemesis. The outcome: Victory, a Pyrrhic one, though, because of all the losses they had to deal with in order to succeed.
You can find (and buy) this and other music pearls on the Bandcamp page of the label.
