641 // JG Outsider – Coming Out

Another fantastic work by JG Outsider docks on Espacio Cielo. Check it out!

One of the reasons the so-called Indie Dance/Dark Disco scene has been steadily conquering hearts and minds all over the world is the fact that it is a wide-open stage for every kind of artist who is willing to venture through darker pastures independently of their most favourable genre. House, Techno, and Trance heads, using their original aliases or under different masks, get together their E.B.M., Industrial, Italo, and Disco Music references and manage to blend them seamlessly and coherently in order to deliver something different from their customary sonority.

Javi Golo aka 2 Rare People aka L.U.W. aka JG Outsider is one of these artists. The seasoned Spanish producer has swiftly established his craft as one of the most competent acts in the business and became one of the favourite collaborators of the behemoth Oviedo-based label Espacio Cielo – on which JG returns now with his “Coming Out” EP. In it: Two competent originals and their respective remixes made with love by Austher and Kay-Chi.

Premiered here, the title track delivers exactly what we can expect from Javi when he incorporates the JG Outsider entity: Aggressivity and stamina perfectly paired with intense groovy and high danceability. The punchy guitar-like lines and the vocoded vocals deliver an 80s nostalgia to the theme and opens the parcel with mastery.

You can find (and buy) this and other music pearls on the Beatport page of the label.
