Although the International Astronomical Union downgraded the status of Pluto to that of a dwarf planet because it did not meet the criteria the IAU uses to define a full-sized planet, this has not prevented the Italian duo we.amps (SXDNS285) to name their forthcoming EP after the icy celestial body. The three-original “Pluto” EP, coming soon on the Russian label Sengiley Recordings, comes packed with a gargantuan amount of groovy space dust and delivers a stunning amalgamation of Breakbeat, Deep, Acid and Chicago House influences.
Founded in 2016 by Andrea Cavani and Fabio Dall’oglio, we.amps has been providing high-quality content since then, via impeccable DJ sets and well-constructed originals and remixes, due to the strong chemistry that connects the young artists as true music lovers.
Premiered here, the peak-time-only “Say Hey To The World” distills its magic via a bouncy energetic 125-BPM gait filled with a holy-moly bassline and booty-shaker percussive elements. A spot-on synth lead and a suitable amount of acid complete the intended purpose of the theme: Making the dance-floor people happy!
You can find (and buy) this and other music pearls on the Bandcamp page of the label.
