Do you remember Timon and Pumbaa, the animated meerkat and warthog duo introduced in Disney’s 1994 The Lion King? Cool dudes, right? They decided to join forces and give it a go in the music-making realm.

Jokes aside, Teemon & Poomba are two friends whose passion for the dance floor brought them to the path they find themselves now: making people happy through spot-on productions and vibrant DJ sets. With well-received appearances on Musica Cavernicola, Logical Records, and Espacio Cielo, they are now back on the Oviedo-based powerhouse with the “Dreams Driver” EP, a two-original two-remix bash featuring lusty revisions made with love by none other than Amarcord (SXDNS109) and Parissior (SXDNS206), the label honcho himself.

Premiered here, the title track comes soaked in the infallible groovy-meets-darkness concoction and triggers cheerful hip-shaking and foot-stomping moves. Progressiveness and dynamism take over the stage set up by a beautiful synth line, joyful percussive elements, cosmic-dust-infused FXs, and a bouncy bassline. Kudos!
