The independent electronic record label and event series based in Buenos Aires, Argentina, TeQwave reaches its 16th release. For the occasion, the hermanos delivered a solid compilation full of the new TeQwave-style tunes blended with a well-matched touch of classic Techno. The label intended to make the new sound of the brand transcend, going back to the club roots with minimal overtones, but without forgetting its Indie roots. Combining collaborations from its resident DJs with new additions, the team amassed to this incredible release brings only local producers.
One of the invited artists is an old friend of ours. Poulper, who already appeared on our mixtape series (SXDNS146), collaborated with a groovy old school arcade-influenced beauty. The retro atmosphere provided by the bleepy and upbeat lead and the funky and slappy bassline transports us to an obscure but buoyant journey into a classical game whose main plot consists in saving the day by surrendering to the contagious rhythm of the theme.
