Originally released in 2021, Crackazat’s “Alfa”, his biggest hit to date, makes its comeback on the second instalment of the tin celebratory look-back VA of the acclaimed Amsterdam-based label Heist Recordings. Founded ten years ago by none other than Dam Swindle, the imprint has fast become – and has been since then – one of the most influential sources of high-quality House Music anthems out there. Their forthcoming “Heist Classics Vol. 02” brings back five unforgettable gems made with love by a true dream team of lauded super stars: Crackazat, Andy Hart, Makèz, Kassian, and Nachtbraker.
With solid appearances on vital outlets such as Freerange, Nervous, Razor-N-Tape, Reel People, Local Talk, Quantize, Papa Records, and Heist itself, just to name a few, Crackazat’s notable output has established him as one of the most respected House Music artists of his generation. Creativity and sophistication allied with high-level production skills set the tone of his work – “Alfa” being the perfect example of his capabilities. From its very beginning, the theme aims nothing besides enchanting with its powerful attitude and upbeat aura. “It’s a signature Crackazat song with an off-kilter live key loop, shuffling percussion, and pumping low end”, as described in the official press release of the compilation.
You can find (and buy) this and other music pearls on the Bandcamp page of the label.
