Phil Simon amasses, despite the tender age, a respectable vinyl record collection and a second to none mixing technique. Basic elements to become a DJ, right? Yes, but kind of becoming more and more difficult to find nowadays.

Phil Simon is one of those reckless youngsters stirring up some soul in the Rhine-Main area around Frankfurt these days. Back in 2013, he and two friends founded the collective Friends Of The Family. Together, they made a podcast and party series.

After the end of this project, he founded the party series Voyage along with Terrence D. This took place at the nightclub Quincy Schultz in Aschaffenburg. High-quality bookings with DJs from Robert Johnson (Offenbach), Galerie Kurzweil (Darmstadt) etc. were offered.

For the last years, Phil has been a resident DJ at STR8, one of the best Techno parties in Hessen. He regularly plays at Dora Brilliant and has already shared decks with artists like Ryan Elliot, Konstantin Sibold, Virginia, Mike Huckaby, Cinthie, Spencer Parker etc.

At the moment he has been focusing on his own productions. Maybe we will hear more about him very soon.
