Dirt Track is a production team based in Madrid formed by Azaria and unsung hero Javier Busto, two producers with an extensive musical background.
Javier is the man behind Logical Records, label manager and A&R. He jumped into the DJ booth for the first time in 1988 at only 16 years old, mixing the most acid and striking sounds of the moment. Shortly after he began his residency at Saratoga, a club that clearly stamped his style.
Javier has gone through a broad variety of music styles during his 25 years on the decks, EBM, New Beat, Techno, House, Deep House, Tech-house. A wide variety of rhythms, melodies and percussions have always been present in his sets, having evolved over the years into a Dark Disco, Electronic, Slow Techno, New wave, Psycho Disco, Cosmic Disco and other styles with clear touches of electro, acid, without abandoning its melodic and rhythmic essence. As a producer, he has released tracks references in Logical, Regith and Roam.
Azaria is the pseudonym of Carlos Calderón, an experienced sound engineer, remixer, producer and studio manager at Rec Division Studios, a professional recording facility in Madrid. His recording career began in 1996 and he has used a number of different AKAs and band names and released music in different styles on many record labels. He has also recorded music and has performed sound design for cinema, television and advertisements. The recording credits include a bunch of Spanish artists and international indie bands such as Crystal Fighters, The Royal Concept, Codec&Flexor, Zombie Kids, Teniente Castillo, The Pharcyde (J. Swift), The Monks, Aqeellion, Ikki, Machete Boyz, Polock, Dorian, Cycle, Elyella DJs, Ellos, Bravo Fisher, Atica, among others.
He was a founder member of the electronic rock band Cycle (PIAS Spain, Subterfuge Records) with whom he made three albums and presented live acts at Sónar Festival, Duo Exchange (Tokyo), Razzmatazz (Barcelona), Pop Komm (Berlin), Audiovisia Festival (Milano), FIB Festival (Benicàssim), to name a few. He has released tracks on Roam, Logical, Emerald & Doreen, Sub:Sonic, and Nein.
