Dan Bay is a DJ and producer from Frankfurt with Iranian roots and the founder of the vinyl and digital label Limpio Records. His music moves between Downtempo, Ketapop and World Music influenced Techno. He collects his sounds and samples during his travels around the world with his field recorder. The atmosphere he creates in his music is partially melancholic but danceable. Once a month Dan and his fellow DJ Krystyna present new underground tracks in their radio show at X-Fade DJ night (Radio X), and together with his studio partner Le Rubrique, Dan plays in the electronic live band THE MPC Orchestra. Dan’s music was released on Laut & Luise, Analogmusiq, NDYD and Talpa Rec; and forthcoming releases on Wayu Records, Heimlich Music, Finebeatz, Limpio Records and Bunte Kuh.
