The Spanish label Logical Records has a trajectory in releasing fresh and innovative music that goes back in history almost ten years. For their next release, one of the label’s bosses, Ivan De La Rouch, teams up with Local DJ/Producer Mike Sacchetti to bring to life STAGES EP, a very special piece composed on two sides (A and B). The two of them became friends at Cafe Berlin in one of the editions of Switch, a chug disco, EBM, Dark Disco party promoted by Mike in Madrid.

STAGES combines a very diverse set of sounds, which will take you on a journey through dark disco – listen out for EBM tweaks and sublime guitar riffs. The track we chose to premiere comes from the B Side: “Hammer”, remixed by Nein Records boss Tronik Youth, brings acid lines combined with mighty guitar riffs and metallic percussions. If you are familiar with Tronik’s work, you’ll notice he spared none of his characteristic trademarks. His interpretation is definitely one of the highlights of the EP that also brings collaborations from other artists such as Mufti, Moo Moonster and Logical’s co-owner Javier Busto.
