More IMDB than Discogs, ALI X & his heavy friends collect some cutting-room floor rarities and repurpose them into a spacious EP of lost theme and score, including the piece “Gravedad”, which in collaboration with Mexico City’s Perfect Lovers, exemplifies the mood and nature of these lost sessions.

Amarcord’s version for “Gravedad” is definitely something! Based on Balearic percussive elements, ethereal and space pads establish a trippy aura on this cutting-edge interpretation that could easily be found as part of a sci-fi movie’s original soundtrack.
